I'm a retired K-12 School Counselor from the Fox School District in Arnold, MO. I earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Sociology from Maryville University and a Master's in School and Community Counseling from the University of Missouri, St. Louis. I became a Licensed Professional Counselor in 2004 and owned a private counseling practice for 10 years where I worked with individuals ages 5+, offering a variety of therapeutic interventions including Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy. As a parent of several dogs, horses, and other small farm animals, I am an advocate for emotional support animals in the fight against symptoms of emotional and mental conditions and I am proud to partner with US Service Animals in that mission.
